December 2011
I really want to do a better job documenting and journaling for my family, and I know the best way to do that is to stay current....I also know that it is most important to live in the moment, and not spend so much time worrying about what I'm not doing, or what I feel like I don't have time for. So here we go catching up briefly, my goal is to have a bit more detail as I blog, with smaller posts so that it doesn't feel so overwhelming to do multiple entries, we'll see I suppose. :)
We started our December concert season with Carson again, and it was a great one, he had a great time, and you can see in the lower picture, Natalie can not wait for her turn on stage as well.
At Garry's concert, I decided since we all looked nice that we should try for a family photo. When we were done, Garry said, "it looks like you're all visiting me in prison".....AGHH! I guess we could have chosen a little better back drop, hard to do in a school!
Both of our kids have loved getting up on the podium to be the conductor's.
We also decided to go over to Lake Coeur d'Alene and take the cruise to the North Pole, the kids loved it! It was FREEZING! But how exciting to hear that your name is on the good list!
I love having little kids, it gives us an excuse to do fun things for the holidays. If we didn't have kids, I think we'd be pretty boring!

What a great family pic! You guys make the backdrop look fantastic. I think we are going to do the Coeur d'Alene thing next year--it seems like so much fun but SO cold too (that's why we held off this year). Anyway, great posts!!
