Randomness

When I get overwhelmed, I don't take pictures, for a multitude of reasons, i.e., I get busy and forget, I can't find my camera and my cell phone pics are crap, my house is a mess and who wants to document that?, we are boring... I know all personal things for me to deal with, we all have things we're working on right? And acceptance is the first step :)

So for 2 weeks, I have four pictures to document our lives....

#1, my kiddos hanging out at the school, took pic during the only 2 minutes of the entire two hours that we were there that they entertained themselves, now I don't even remember what we were doing there, but in the aforementioned 2 weeks, between Garry and I we had 4 groups perform at festival, one jazz band festival clinic, 1 concert, and 1 mass band district invitational. It was busy, and I'm glad that my kids are patient with us!

#2 When I need to release some of my pent up frustration from being over-whelmed, I like to create, I was at JoAnn's and they had cake pans for 50% off, so I grabbed all of the ones on clearance, when I could/should have spent time doing laundry, dishes, or cleaning I made a cake........Boy was it good!
#3, Carson comes home, com'on mom, it's the last skate night of the school year......Yes, yes it is........please, please, please, please....etc...He had fun, and he is getting better.
#4 Natalie feels neglected (not always, just in this instance), and now every time I tell her no, she throws herself down on the floor and cries and cries, if I'm not looking when she looks up she either moves closer to me and throws herself on the floor again, or goes and finds something else to do, if I am looking when she looks up she continues to sob on the floor............I try really hard not to laugh.
I am glad our life has slowed down ever so much!
