Halloween Festivities

We started the week off with the Harvest Festival at the high school, both the kids had a great time, and Natalie was officially introduced to candy, too exhilarating! She very quickly figured out that if you hold your bucket out people will put things in it, and furthermore, if you bat your big blue eyes they will usually sigh and put more candy in your bucket. Manipulator already I tell ya!
Friday, I was able to get another teacher to cover my class so I could go to Carson's classroom party. It was fun, they had a black and orange day instead of letting them wear their costumes which I'm really okay with, perplexed with why middle school and high school kids get to wear their costumes, and elementary kids don't, but it is what it is I suppose.

The kids got to do a lot of crafts, and frost sugar cookies, and Carson had a grand time.
Friday afternoon, the kids got to come visit the school so Garry and I could finish up our last few items of detail for the week........Natalie thinks she owns the place :)
We had an impromtu photo shoot, I forgot how hard it is to photograph a 1 year old! I finally pulled the piano bench out and had her sit on it, then she couldn't walk away :)
Carson with all parts functioning!
We went to the church trunk-or-treat, and also did some trick-or-treating around the neighborhood, both the kids had a great time.
And then we said good-bye to Halloween for one more year........
