Costume Debut

And the costumes are......

Carson was such a great sport! So we got the little green box with our Easter eggs last spring and I said hey Carson that would be a cool box that we could make a robot head out of......Famous last words :) He told me that would be pretty sweet, and so we had a costume idea about 6 months in the making, it really wasn't horribly hard to make, but assembly proved to be slightly tricky, once we got it spray painted, I kept contemplating what we were going to do for his bottom half....I had found the dryer vent tube, and it worked well, but it still didn't cover his bottom, so I wrapped him in tin foil, and taped it up with silver tape very well. It was great in theory, but the poor kid couldn't walk, we ended up taking the boxes off of his feet, and then the aluminum shorts kept tearing, so after several patch jobs, from the multiple events we went to, he ended up just wearing the box, and it turned out quite all right! He was such a good boy, and humored his mom, telling me that it was the coolest costume ever.

It was a super fun project to work on with the boy!
