Roller Skating

Our church had a skate party night. It was pretty fun, it has been several years like 10+ since I have been roller skating, and Carson has never been! He was actually a pretty quick learner, it was much harder than I remember and much harder when you're trying to keep someone else upright! When he finally figured out that you have to roll along instead of trying to walk he began to get the hang of it. They were having a race around the rink, I tried to talk Carson out of it, but since he could make it all the way around he was determined to try. They had everyone line up at the end of the rink, and I waited with Carson until his race. They have adults go first and work their way down, so they got around to all the moms, and I had no intention of racing, but with only 3 others, they talked me into it, Carson and I had one thing in common for our race..........dead last! It was fun though, and I was super glad that some of the young women were there who weren't skating who helped me out with Natalie.......Yay Sierra!
