Over the river and through the woods...

We had such a great time for Thanksgiving this year! It was the first time in more than a year that all of my siblings were able to get together and we had a fabulous weekend. Garry and I both had to teach a half day Wednesday, and then I ended up with a sinus infection so we were a little late getting started on our adventure because I had to wait for a prescription from the pharmacy, but one we got on the road it was a pretty easy trip... (Well for me anyway). My marvelous husband was a real trooper and drove most of the way, and I slept for a lot of the trip. We ran into a bit of fog, but we still made the trip in just over 9 hours so it's par for the course. On Thursday, we went to dinner at my aunt and uncles house, and it was fun to see many of my cousins that I haven't seen in such a long time, all grown up with kids of their own:) Friday we ventured out for Family pictures, unfortunately we can't download them, so I can't post them, but some of them turned out pretty cute.

Matt's friend was nice enough to bring his guitar hero over, and let my family play, it was pretty fun, Garry and I are still sitting on the fence post about whether we are going to buy a wii for Christmas this year, we had decided that we would get the bundle from Walmart, and when I went to buy it they were sold out, so now we are rethinking our decision and trying to decide if we really want one that badly, I keep going back and forth I don't know...
We had Thanksgiving dinner with my family on Friday, and it was great for us to get to spend time together as a family. Carson and Benson had such a great weekend, and played together so well, such a difference than a year ago. Baby Jack isn't so little anymore, and toddled around Grandma's house, and baby Kaiya is so sweet next to all of those boys!
We had such a wonderful weekend, and we are truly thankful for all of the blessings we have received this year. We feel like this was been our most plentiful year yet!
