Being that Garry and I are both music teachers, December is usually a busy time of year for us. We generally have at least 3-5 night time concerts, as well as an additional 2-4 daytime performances at one venue or another. This year, we got to add Carson into the mix. Our poor children attend concert after concert sitting and listening most times being bored, and very, very seldomly being actively engaged. Don't get me wrong, I think it is good for them, but Carson was more than thrilled that he got to be the performer and we were the ones who had to sit in the audience.
He was one of the lucky kiddos who got to play an instrument during the performance, and after he got his cheesy look at me picture taken, took his job very seriously. He was trying to describe it to me earlier in the day......it goes like this mom D, A, D.....D, A, D......all the while doing the arm motions.
It was cute, and I was glad he got to kick off our December concert season this year!
