33 weeks

We had our 33 week check up today, so see how big the baby is getting. Right now he thinks she weighs about 5 pounds. I have friends who have full-term babies that weigh 5 pounds, not in the cards for us, with 7 weeks left to go. So the dr. at this point is predicting an 8-8 1/2 pound baby. I'm still hoping that he will induce me a couple of weeks early. Wouldn't that be nice...

Garry and I both loved seeing her chubby little chipmunk cheeks. It was weird though on this ultrasound, comparing it to what I remember Carson's looked like (I wish I could find them), it just isn't as clear it was a lot harder to see, but she is bigger, the last ultrasound I had with Carson was at 22 weeks, so I suppose he had a little more room in there. From what we could tell though, she is going to have cute squishy cheeks just like Carson.

Today, the dr. also confirmed all of her little girl parts. He said there would be no surprised in that department. He gave us a picture of her bottom, but it didn't look like anything so I decided not to put it up. He said everything else looks good though. I lost a bunch of weight during my first trimester because I was so sick, and nothing sounded good to eat, and I still am about 5 pounds under what I weighed at my initial appointment, so that was refreshing. She is sitting a lot higher than Carson was also, so I've been lucky enough not to have to buy maternity pants. Now I'm just hoping to make it through the last few weeks without having to spend extra money.

AHH, only 4 1/2 weeks of school left for me, counting down the days!! In a good way :)
