It's all in your perception

The week before spring break, were parent/teacher conferences at Carson's school. Because the teacher works practically the same hours that I do, we weren't able to connect, so she just sent his stuff home for me to peruse and then I sent his project stuff back.

She had photocopied some of the observation stuff the teachers do, and I got a good chuckle after reading through it.

Since Carson was born, we have called him "Carsonator." It took us a long time to convince him his name was Carson LaPlante, not Carsonator. Now if we ask him what his full name is, he will deny that he has a middle name, "my name is Carson Carsonator LaPlante." It is at times humorous to watch him get all riled up about it. At school they were working on their identification, and processing skills.

In the teacher's observation she had written,
"We asked Carson what his first name was, he replied, Carson. We asked Carson what his last name was, he replied, LaPlante. We then asked Carson what his whole name was and he replied, Carson "Nader"??? LaPlante. Unable to clarify."

I laughed pretty hard, now all the preschool teachers think we named him after Ralph Nader. No such luck!!!
