Yummmmy!!

In December, I went to the craft show at East Valley that Garry's Booster Club sponsors every year. I was walking around, and there was a lady there with a pampered chef booth. I have been wanting one of these trifle bowls for quite sometime, but didn't know anyone who sold pampered chef, so was excited to see her there. I was asking her about it, and she told me it was the hostess special that month and if I had a party in December I could get it for $15. I was really excited, but after talking to Garry, there was no way I was going to have a party in the week that was left before Christmas, so I called and told her, thanks but no thanks. Well a few days later she called me back, and told me if I would sign up to host a party in January or February, she would order the bowl for me, and just hold it, and I could still get it for $15.

Great!! So I finally had my party the end of February, and since she had ordered the bowl in December, I got it right away. I was excited to make my first dessert, in my new bowl! I just layered in some angel food cake with strawberries, and a whip cream/cream cheese mixture. It was not incredibly pretty, but I thought it tasted pretty good. I'll have to come up with some more beautiful desserts. Happy tasting :)
