Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was great. We had dinner with Garry's parents and then came home to get ready for Santa. Carson opened his traditional Christmas Eve pajamas, and we decided to make chocolate chip cookies to leave for Santa. Garry was awesome, I really still have not been feeling well, and he and Carson made the cookies, and then baked them together. I made a note for Santa, and Carson drew a picture of Santa's Sleigh and his Reindeer.

After Carson went to bed, we went to work. It took us quite a while because we didn't get home until nearly 10pm, but we finally made it. We were happy that we lived so close to 7 11, and thankful they were open 24 hours even on Christmas, even as unfortunate as that is for the workers. We got Carson the video game bike that you ride, and plug into the TV. We had left it in the trunk of my car until Christmas Eve because we didn't really have any place to hide it in our apartment. As we pulled it out of the box, and Garry assembled it, we realized that it required 4 "D" batteries. We just figured it would come with a cord to plug it in... What's Santa to do at 12:30??? So Garry went down to the 7 11, and visited with their fine workers to pay $11 for 4 "D" batteries. Oh well, it was worth it!
