New Family Tradition

Fiddler on the Roof immediately comes to mind... I suggested to Angela that our two families begin a new family tradition this year. My original thought was that it would be fun to do a day hike, with a picnic lunch. However, we decided that with two pre-schoolers, and a baby, that might not be the most efficient use of our time. Angela did some craft research, and we had such a great time. We made boomerangs which I'm sure would have been very cool, but it took me too long, and they lost interest, imagine... The collect treasures (pine cones) and at the Finch Arboretum, they have this cool trail that you can "hike" around, I use this term loosely. I have two highlights from the excursion.
1. Carson and Waylon decided they both wanted to pee on the same tree.
2. Taking their picture next to the crabapple trees!
