The Melting Pot

What a place! Several weeks ago, we were sitting in River Park Square Mall in the food court, and looked out across the street and saw the Melting Pot. I had heard of it before, but had never really known where it was, so I was excited to see it. I asked Garry if we could maybe go there sometime. Whenever we go out to eat, it is usually to the Olive Garden, because I love it. Chili's or Applebees because they're relatively cheap. So I thought when we go out to eat we should try some new restuarants. So Garry set it all up for my birthday. It was the weekend after my birthday, because we had a lot going on that week, but it was great! As our waitress told us like 17 times, it's all about the experience. For the first time in a long time, it took us 3 1/2 hours to complete dinner, and we didn't even have to wait because it is one of the few restuarants that actually takes reservations. It was a very relaxing evening, with great food!

I really enjoyed our flaming turtle dessert.
