Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day was so great this year! It has always been a big deal to Garry that Mother's Day is from Carson not from him, which I love, but I have to say, I think this has been the best so far! I got home from work after Carson had gone to sleep on Saturday night, so when he came and woke us up on Sunday morning, I asked him what he had done with his dad the night before. His eyes lit up and he looks at Garry and say, "just a second mom, I'll get your present." He goes bolting out of our bedroom in search of the present, and Garry is trying to reel him in. I went to the bathroom and they got it all figured out. I came out and Carson was holding a gift bag, he was so excited! He says, "here mom, I'll give you my present, it has my hand on it" Garry is trying to get him to hush, but I have to give the 3 year old credit he kept a secret for a long time! I opened it up, and they had gone to a pottery place to make me a personalized plate where Carson got to put his hand in paint and then put it on the plate. He thought it was very cool! But they had gone on Tuesday and Carson hadn't said anything to me all week. I guess he'll be a better secret keeper than me! It was a great mother's day!
