1st Grader!

I have a first grader! I love it, he is excited, I am excited. He is doing his work at school this year.....knock on wood :) He is reading, he comes home with WOW on many of his papers, he has gotten 100% on every spelling test so far.

Long in short, 1st grade is going SO WELL!

Kindergarten was rough, he really didn't like it, and complained about going nearly everyday. It was a constant battle to get him to do his work, and I was constantly bribing him to do something at school.

I can not tell you how ecstatic this improvement in first grade makes me!

Before school started, his teacher Mrs. Brunton had the students come in and drop their school supplies off and pick their desk, he chose the front row, it made me happy.

He was absolutely thrilled for school to start, he was very excited!

I saw this on another blog, and loved it! These are some of Carson's interests as a first grader.

Silly kid!
We are four weeks in, and he still loves it as much as the first day, I hope this will continue throughout the year!
