We decided to let Carson spend some time with my mom this summer so that he could swim with her little summer league swim team. So we decided to meet up with my mom half way in Baker City instead of going all the way to southern Idaho. When we used to go to swim meets in Baker City, OR, sometimes we would stop at the Oregon Trail Museum to kill some time. I really don't remember a lot of the museum, but it has changed quite a bit. We got there very close to closing time so they let us just walk through with out paying which was nice. It reminded me of all of my Idaho history lessons from 4th grade and studying Lewis & Clark with their adventure on the Oregon Trail, it made me slightly sad that my kids wouldn't study Idaho History because it was such a high light of elementary school for me, but I'm sure they will have many grand adventures growing up in Washington that I never got.
