Happy Father's Day/Anniversary 2011

Garry and I have made one full cycle since we've been married. We got married on Sat. June 18, and Father's Day landed on Sunday June 19, and that was how the date's landed this year as well.

I think it took Garry and I a few years to learn how to be (good) parents, at least I hope we're good now. We work together reasonably well, and we usually agree on the end result even if we travel different paths to get there.

The kiddo's love their dadd-o. Natalie especially. We've been at my mom's for a couple of weeks, and every time Natalie see's a motorcycle she looks around excitedly and says, DADD-O. It's pretty cute. Sadly I didn't take any pics on Father's Day, I think that was when my camera was MIA, but I thought this characterized Natalie's insistence on helping her dad pretty well.

Garry and I had talked about just going out to dinner for our anniversary this year, and not doing anything fancy...................So. I. did. :) or didn't I suppose.

Our anniversary was the Saturday at the completion of the school year.

We

were

exhausted!!!!

So on Friday, we were walking around Wal-Mart, and Garry says I decided to get us something for our anniversary, and I'm thinking great, I'm a chump. I asked him, so am I going to like it? He says, well I'm really going to like it, and I think you'll appreciate it. Now you have to understand, Garry has been having A LOT of motorcycle talk recently, A LOT! I didn't say anything, but in the back of my mind I was thinking, if he bought a sissy bar for his motorcycle for our anniversary I am going to be so ticked, you know something that he would like a lot, and I would appreciate...... as a passenger........

So we wake up very late on Saturday, and he's like check your e-mail for our anniversary present.........................................................................

I open my e-mail to find tickets to Michael Buble coming to Spokane later in the summer. Talk about THRILLING!!!!! I have never actually screamed out loud receiving a present before, but that was superbulous!!!

I had heard on the radio all the week prior that tickets went on sale Friday, and they were giving them away every morning. I thought it would be pretty sweet to win them, but figured they would be expensive. These were just fleeting in and out thoughts I had, and figured I would talk to Garry about it after they were on sale, so you can imagine my surprise when that's what he got without even a suggestion from me, huge brownie points!

So I am so excited that we will be going to Michael Buble here in a few weeks.

I

Love

Him.

My husband,

and Michael Buble :)
