Jr. Lilac Parade

This is probably my last year bringing a group of kids to the jr. Lilac parade, because of some changes happening in our district, I am more than likely going to transition into teaching beginning band at several elementaries, and Garry will probably be moving to the middle school with another one of our colleagues. It definitely has made me more reflective about my teaching with these kiddos, I have been trying to get the kids to just see the enjoyment that music can bring to their lives, and really has been a pretty good year.

Carson was pretty funny at the parade, he wanted to lead the band, and pretty much walked in front of them the whole time, Natalie just thought it was too cold! We were lucky though, it sprinkled just before we started, and then it didn't rain again until we were all the way through the parade route, which makes every one happier all around!
