East Valley had their home season opener last weekend. It was a pretty sweet game, we won 30 something to 7 which after getting creamed the week before on the road was pretty nice! It was the band's debut of their Journey show, and they did pretty well. There were a few rough spots, but I was telling one of the band mom's they always need to perform their first show to motivate them that it really is real, and they don't have a lot of time to waste. It will be fun to see their season progress.
In honor of East Valley school color's, I made Natalie a new bow. I have made a lot, and I look at the ones I made when she was first born, and am pleased with the evolution. Every time I make a new one, I get excited because it looks better or is more creative than the last one that I made, and then I get inspired to make a bunch in the same style. Oh well, it's exciting to me to have one that coordinates with everything that she wears.
In the pictures, you can mostly see the front and back of the show shirts this year, I thought they were pretty cool, and Carson loves being a part of the band!
