Quick trip Seattle

A couple of weeks ago, we made a quick weekend trip to attend a funeral of a LaPlante family friend who after 10 years lost her battle with cancer. While it was a quick, and sort of unexpected trip, we decided to make the most of our weekend in Seattle.

We took the kiddos swimming at the pool. Carson was thrilled, I suppose swimming lessons need to be on the horizon if I ever want this kid to learn to swim without the aid of a flotation device.....

I was trying to decide between the zoo, and the museum of flight. However, after talking to Garry there wasn't much deciding left to do. He told us we were going to see airplanes. Which was okay, Garry has been totally into airplanes his entire life. He told me not to get impatient with him, and tried to relate it to me using the following analogy. So it's going to be like when we go to Kohl's and you can look at rack after rack for a long time, and I'm sitting there totally bored out of my mind, asking if we can be done yet, but when we're in the museum, you need to just be patient because I'm going to want to look at everything for a LONG time. I laughed right out loud at him.

Carson had a great time though, his favorite airplane was the one that was painted like a shark.
