I love vacations

What exactly is a vacation? Merely leaving your own residence and doing something out of your normal routine? I'm not sure... I always tell Garry that I want to take a vacation next/this summer, and he says okay. Every summer and usually 1-2 times during the school year we go to southern Idaho to visit my family, and we try to do fun things while we are there. BUT, does it really count as a vacation, it's not like we're going to see the Grand Canyon, or going to Disneyland. So if we were to go to some sort of destination, it's not like we would do that instead of visiting my family.... Hmmmm quite the quandry.

Regardless, we did have a fun time in southern Idaho. We took one day to catch up with my good friend Camille and her kids at the Boise Zoo, and Carson thought seeing all of the animals was pretty cool. It was such a hot day, and the animals were feeling the heat too, instead of walking around or playing, they were all lounging in the sun, They had several little play areas for the kids to check out, and Carson had a great time playing with Camille's little kiddos.

While we were in Boise, we decided to use a gift card that we had for Build-a-Bear workshop. Carson had a hard time deciding what animal he wanted, as well as what outfit to choose, so it took us 1 1/2hours to finally make it out. Aunt Kori, and Aunt Tara were definitely ready to be done by the time we made it out. Carson decided to name his bear "Little Brother", because "now I have a little sister and a little brother!!!" Crazy kid!
