37 weeks

Why do they tell you 37 weeks is full-term? In your mind you get your hopes up that you might actually be one of the lucky ones that just magically goes into labor on her own weeks before her actual due date. BLAH!

I actually reached the "full-term" mark on Monday. I had an appointment today to check things out, and was a little surprised when he told me that I was dilated to a 1. I was trying really hard to remember how long before I had Carson I had been dilated to a 3. It seemed like weeks, and I know it was at least two, but now that I'm getting close enough where I think I should be done, surely it could have been more than 2 weeks? Last week when he checked me, there was nothing, so I'm a little hopeful at least that there is "progress."

I really am not complaining, well too much. My last day of school is next Monday the 8th, and I do have a lot to get done so that the year is finished out and I don't have to go back in to close stuff out.

So here's to one more week!!
