We went to visit Grandma Hope and Papa for Spring break this year, and had quite the relaxing week! Everyone at their house either had to go to school or work, so we slept in everyday, and just took it easy, it was awesome!!
As we were leaving town for our 9 hour trip, it was pretty funny. We were not even past the airport, and Carson says, for real, how long is this going to take, I want to get to Grandma's house. Garry's blood pressure instantly rises, and I try to explain to Carson to just enjoy the scenery, and we would have a nice long drive until we got to Grandma's house. We were about 1 1/2 hours out of town when Carson saw a field with some irrigation piping, knowing that Grandma lives in the land of farming, he stretches his arms out, and says, oh I'm glad we made it, that wasn't so bad... Now where is Grandma's house? I don't see it.... ARGHH

It has been quite a while since Carson got a haircut, and he was in desperate need! I think I do an okay job most of the time, but it takes me a LOOOOONG time! After much persuading, kicking, and screaming, I finally convinced Carson to let grandma cut his hair. Finally no more shaggy guy!

We tried to find things to do to entertain ourselves everyday until everyone got home. One afternoon, we decided to go down to Dierkes Lake. It was fun, and Carson had a great time because we were the only ones in the park. But, mom and dad didn't make it very long because it was so darn cold!!! Everytime we visit my parents, I forget how much the wind blows there, it makes it so frigid!!

There is a jump house in Twin Falls called "Hop to it." Carson calls it Tara's Jump and Bounce. Which is funny because Tara didn't even go with us. We met up with one of my friends from high school and two of her little kids, and it was a good change of scenery for Carsonator.
Now, we're soooooo excited to go back to school...................BLAH! Oh well, only 10 weeks until graduation and hopefully this baby comes!
