Several months ago when we were working on letters, and the sounds each one makes, I would tell him words that began with that letter in hopes it would click a little more in his head. For most of the letters, I would come up with familiar names to associate. K for Kori, T for Tara, D for Daddy, and so on. Although, his favorite letter has become L. For a while he would see any letter and say, "look mom, L for Lisa." And it would be an S or something. Then everything clicked. One day he was laying on the floor, and stuck his feet in the air and said "look mom, I'm an L for Lisa" Sure enough!
This is my little tribute to my wonderful sister Lisa. Her family moved to Alaska last year, and we have missed them so much! Jennifer is blessing her baby this week, and I am so excited to be able to see Lisa and Ben. We also get to meet little man Jack which will be so fun! Welcome back, we love you guys!
