Update

So I'm thinking after receiving a few comments, and later re-reading my blog entry that I entered way too late to ensure that it made since that I should give an update about my wounded husband.

First of all, we do not know what caused the foot pain. About 6 weeks before his foot started to hurt he had slipped on the ice, but it didn't really bother him until the aforementioned time. After the Easter Egg hunt, I traded Garry's mom spots and stayed with the wounded and she took the kiddos homes. The Urgent Care doctor was most UNhelpful!! He took an x-ray of it, but didn't see any stress fractures or anything so told him to ice it and try to stay off of it as much as possible. He gave us a prescription for a walking air cast boot. Although once we got to the pharmacy realized we didn't need a prescription for it, and we could just purchase one for $80. YIKES!! We decided to just get basically a glorified ace bandage to wrap around his foot. For the most part, he gradually got better. He took the following Monday off of school and layed on the couch, and was at least able to walk, so we thought it was all good.

Last Friday, he had is annual physical exam, and we went to see a new doctor in Spokane, and that morning, his foot started hurting again. So we're hoping that he just used it too much and is taking more time to heal. But as of today he is walking better, so that is good! The doctor told him that sometimes it just takes a long time to heal, so stay off of it as much as possible.

So as of yet, that is our update, hopefully it will just be better!!!!
