After a two and a half year hiatus, Garry and I have recently begun playing with the NIC Community Symphonic Band in Coeur d'Alene. It's been quite fun to have a night every week that we can get away together and do something that we both enjoy doing. For this concert we did an array of dances, from Shostakovich, Offenbach, Tchaikovsky and Bernstien. It really was a great concert, and I'm always amazed at how much you can accomplish with an ensemble that only meets once a week for 2 1/2 hours. However, last night was a our concert, and it went really well as I said. Carson came over with Grandma Kay Kay, and he did really well and sat quietly through most of the concert except when he had to go to the bathroom. When we were finished I wanted to take some pics with him though and he was being such a clown! It was a great night!
