Fred the Elf

We have started a new tradition at our house this year, that has become quite popular for the kids, and oh so humorous for Garry and I.

Carson decided to name our elf Fred, and usually has a good conversation with him every night before he goes to bed to make sure Santa knows what is on his list. He is usually pretty good about including Natalie too.

So every night Fred travels to the North Pole to visit Santa and tell him whether Carson and Natalie are doing good things or doing bad things. And then we find him in a different spot every morning.
Yesterday, Carson and Natalie had a funny conversation:

Carson: Hey Natalie, remember we are going to go to Coeur D'Alene and ride a boat to the North Pole to see Santa tonight?

Natalie: YAY!!!!

Carson now talking to Fred: Hey Fred, we're going to go to the North Pole and see Santa tonight, will you come? Please, please, please, please!!!!! I really want to meet all of your brothers and sisters......

No response.....

Fred?!?

Fred?! Please!

Fred, just smiles nicely :)

Last night, I think Fred must have been more observant of Carson's naughty behavior.......

He nibbled on Natalie's ginger bread house all night!

That little trickster! I wonder where he'll be tomorrow?
