I had 13 seniors in choir this year, 12 girls, 1 boy. You can imagine the drama :) We had a pretty good year, and it was the first time that I have ever had one job for that long, so I have established a reasonably good relationship with each of the kids.
Friday before graduation, seniors didn't have to come to class, and just had graduation line up practice from like 10-12. My class ended at 12:30, so many of them came to hang out for the afternoon because we also had an after school rehearsal for graduation. A few of them were being very cryptic about their afternoon activities. I finally got out of one of them that they had painted my car windows, which wasn't a big deal, and they did a very good job of distracting me. One girl was needing help for an audition and kept asking me when I was leaving to go get my kids and come back to the after school rehearsal.....dun, dun, dun....Tragic mistake!
I get back to the school with my kids, and the students all following me with camera's, indicator number 1 right? I go down the hallway to my office and see signs plastered all over, and thought, that was all they had done.....hahahaha I opened my office door to find about 24 rolls of toilet paper strung around my office. You can see the huge pile on the floor outside of my office.
Oh well, I'm just glad they didn't do our house, it would have been a huge pain to clean up! Talking with Garry, he's like, you know it's just because they "like" you. I guess......:)
I did feel much more loved when I got 2 bouquets of flowers at the concerts the previous week!
