I've been feeling very overwhelmed with the world the last few months.
I haven't had a lot of spare time and I've been trying to spend it with the kiddo's and not sitting at the computer.
I had a wonderful Mother's Day.
I like being a mother.
I always wanted to be a mother.
Being the oldest of 7 kids, and youngest sib 15 years younger, I thought I knew what being a mother was all about.
I think I had a reasonable grasp on the physical taking care of children.
I had no idea how much I would love my own kids.
This is not to say I didn't love my little brother and sisters, but having my own offspring has brought a whole new element to the love that I have for another person. (It makes me tear up just thinking about it)
I have a greater respect for mother's, and especially mothers who have more than 2 children, I look at families and am in awe that moms can keep it together when I feel at times I am losing it with just 2.
It helps that I think they're adorable.
Much too late, I hope all of my mom friends had a wonderful mother's day!
