Highlights from our trip
One of the wonderful opportunities of teaching high school music is taking students on performing tours. Garry and I planned a joint trip this year to Salt Lake City, UT. We had a grand time. Our first stop was at University of Montana in Missoula for a clinic with some of the professors, and then we continued our travels to SLC. While in Utah, we went to a sledding park, dinner theater, listened to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, visited the Hogle Zoo, and attended a Jazz Game. We also had a clinic at University of Utah in SLC, and then wrapped the tour up with a joint concert at my alma mater, Wendell High School. It was quite a fun trip! We took such a great group of kids!!! They were always on time with their check-in times, and besides being a little loud at the hotel, did a really great job!
