5 months old

Our baby girl is 5 months old! It is hard to believe, but we have reached the point where we can no longer imagine our lives without her! She fits in so well, and has been such an easy going baby, that I can't remember how it was to not have her here with us.

Over the weekend, it was so very exciting. Natalie's sleeping schedule has been very awesome since about the week before school started. She would go to bed between 8 and 9, and I would usually have to wake her up at 5 to feed her before I got ready for work. On Saturday night, though, she slept 10 hours straight without waking up, it was AWESOME!!! I've been trying to get her to say "mama" forever, and Sunday as we were getting ready for church she looks right at me and says "mamamamammaaaa" it melted my heart! We've also been working on rolling over, she doesn't spend an incredible amount of time on the floor, and she absolutely hates laying on her tummy, but as we were attempting some more tummy time, she just flipped right over, and, looked at me as if to say, "I don't want to lay on my belly!" It was pretty funny, I kind of thought it might be a fluke, but sure enough, she kept flipping over and over again, I'm sure the forward moving isn't far behind!


We love you so much Natalie, and love watching you discover the world through brand new eyes.
