We decided to have one last family hoorah before I take the kids to Southern Idaho for a couple of weeks, and bought tickets to the Indians game tonight. It was super fun, and we were excited because when we got there, we were early enough that they asked Carson if he wanted to come out onto the field during the 7th inning stretch to sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" He was like, SURE! So we got him all psyched out to do it, and then during the fourth inning, it started to pour!! And not just a little bit! They put the game on "rain delay" in hopes of starting again. After we had waited about an hour and a half, they ended up calling the game.... SAD DAY! But they told us we could redeem our tickets for another night, and if we get there early enough, if we talk to them then Carson should get to go out on the field again. So hopefully we'll be able to make it to one more game this season!
