Boy vs. Stairs

I don't like to see my children get hurt, that being said however, I am a big fan of natural consequences. You know the ones you don't have to deliver?

I was feeding the baby, and Carson was dancing around playing near the top of the stairs. I had bought him some rain boots that were on clearance at KOHL'S, and he decided he would wear them for days. They are just a bit to big for him, so as he was doing his dance at the top of the stairs, I see his feet kick out from under him, and the next thing I hear is his head thumping on the rail going down the stairs.

Garry saved the day and picked him up, but I felt so bad for the poor kid, if you look carefully you can see where the rail hit him in the face on both sides. He has indentations from his forehead to his lip, but like I said, I don't think he is going to play on the stairs for quite some time!
